Elk Island Day trip


 Well, more of an afternoon trip.


We saw Alberta Roses in bloom,
 

 and pretty white flowers.
 

Pretty butterflies!


2 of the only 4 Bison we saw.


and now a spot on my lens.


I'll be back with more in a few days.

    Lovely shots, Reb. The sunset is especially lovely. Hopefully that spot is on the lens and not the sensor. It's just easier to get rid of that way.

      Thanks Hilary. It was my lens, or at least I think so, I cleaned spots off of it anyway ;)

    Nice shots, Reb, especially the last--was it tricky adjusting your cam for the lighting? I haven't taken very many low-light photos. Beautiful scenery! I'm blogging again when you have the time to visit :)

      Thanks Jo. I have to admit, I just adjust until I think it looks good on the sensor. I had such an extended time away from taking photos (simply from lack of energy), I have had to re-learn how to adjust my exposures. It is still a bit of luck so far ;)

    these shots are wonderful Reb!!
    and I caught up on older posts as well
    so many pretty images

    I love the butterfly on the bark, it makes a lovely contrast

    and Thumper is a sweet little one

      Thanks Dianne. It was the good contrast that helped me to see the butterfly :0 Thumper is very cute, even now that he is almost full grown.
